International Wom*n’s Day 2022

MusicACT and Burntout Bookings have teamed up for this year's International Wom*n's Day, offering the chance for Canberrans to come together and discuss the ongoing issues that affect wom*n in the music industry.

This year's event will begin with a panel discussion, made up of Ruth O'Brien, Monica Harland and Delali Zevon-Aniakwah, discussing how each of them have progressed in their careers and the barriers they have had to overcome in the industry. The panel discussion will be followed by a speed networking session, where each person will have the chance to spend two minutes to quickly network and meet other like-minded persons in the community. Finishing the event will be a performance by local legends Box Dye, recent winners of the Canberra Indie top 25 countdown.

Tickets are free but registration is necessary for COVID-19 safety purposes. All patrons will be required to check in upon arrival and to wear a mask for the duration of the event.
