Riding high on the release of their 3rd Top 10 ARIA album Controller Australia’s own British India will end 2013 with a run of live shows in capital cities to support their new single ‘Blinded’

Released in March 2013 ‘Controller’ saw an energized British India back at the top of their game, supported by their new record label Liberation and publishing giant Mushroom Music.

The lead single from ‘Controller’ ‘I Can Make You Love’ proved to be the bands biggest release do date, selling 33,000 copies and delivering the band their 5th entry into triple J’s ‘Hottest 100’. ‘Summer Forgive Me’ and ‘Plastic Souvenirs’ continued the album’s forward momentum.

Since bursting on to the scene in 2007, British India’s inimitable and furious brand of pop-infused garage punk has seen them catapulted to the highest echelons of Australian rock royalty. ‘Blinded’ will be the final release from the ‘Controller’ album. The band will go off the road for 3 months to spend time in the studio working on new material for 2014.
