ACT BUDGET DELIVERS $1.5 MILLION TO DEVELOP CANBERRA MUSIC HUB

The 2013-14 ACT Budget will deliver $1.5 million to assist in revitalising the Ainslie Arts Centre as a music hub. A further $1 million will be spent over the following two years in an upgrade to the Gorman House Arts Centre as well as $300,000 towards the establishment of the Kingston Visual Arts Hub.

The heritage listed ACT Government sites house a range of music-related organisations for the use of rehearsals and performance spaces.

ACT Minister for the Arts, Joy Burch, is pleased to announce the ACT Budget Funds and we’re excited too! Later this year a new program will be launched, keep up to date by following @gormanhousearts on Twitter.
